How does aluderm⁺work?

As soon as the special aluminium-coated surface of aluderm+ touches the wound, something crucial happens: fluid from the wound is immediately transferred through this smooth layer into the highly absorbent layer underneath, where it is securely retained.

The surface itself remains smooth and clean – it does not stick to the wound. This means that when the dressing is changed, new, sensitive tissue remains untouched and the dressing can be removed gently and almost painlessly. This allows the wound to heal undisturbed.

In addition, aluderm+ protects against hard scab formation, supports the natural healing process and reduces the risk of unsightly scars.
