DIN 13157 describes the contents of a small first-aid kit for businesses. It specifies which dressing materials and first-aid products must be available in small to medium-sized companies, construction sites, or workplaces.
DIN 13169 is the standard for large first-aid kits. It contains twice the contents of DIN 13157 and is intended for larger companies or workplaces.
DIN 13157 and DIN 13169 apply to businesses in Germany. Which version is required depends on the size of the business and the type of activity. More hazardous work areas (e.g., workshops, construction sites) may require additional first aid supplies.
DIN 13157 applies to schools, kindergartens, and other educational institutions, supplemented by special materials for children where necessary. Many educational institutions also use child-friendly first aid kits or bags with additional contents.

aluderm+ sterile dressing materials have a shelf life of 20 years from the date of manufacture, provided they remain unopened and are stored correctly. The expiry date is indicated on each package.
Unopened and properly stored bandages have a shelf life of 5 years. The exact expiration date can be found on each individual package.
